I know we're in a digital age, but I cannot stand the idea of reading a book – any book, whether its children's fiction, biography, a history – on a Kindle. It hurts my heart a little bit, because I want my children (someday) to grow up holding books, flipping through pages and actually being able to see the story come alive in front of them. Not on some device. Which is why I want to share this video with you. I'd never seen any in this series – and evidently there's 10 of them – that showcase why the book will outlast the Kindle. I LOVE this. I've got to thank Merrily Kutner, author of some of my favorite kids books such as "The Zombie Nite Café" and "Down on the Farm," for pointing this out to me. This one stars the man behind the "Lemony Snicket" series, David Handler. Be sure to check out the rest for some more laughs.
And when you're finished, I'd love to know: Do you prefer a book or a Kindle? kschott@churmmedia.com
