Lily EichertWalking the line between her own tree-hugging mom and her husband, Mr. Disposable, Lily tries to find ways to be green but realistic. Not your typical granola mommy, Lily admittedly wastes energy by leaving lights on, chauffeurs her kids in a non-hybrid SUV, and always brakes for a Nordstrom sale (especially for shoes!). Lily was born and raised in Fullerton and now calls the city home with her husband of 8 years, Brian, 4-year-old daughter Liv, and 18-month-old son Cole. She is a credentialed teacher and swears that one day she’ll go back. In the meantime she works from home for her husband’s business and is grateful to be at home with her children, even though she might complain and say otherwise. Her friends describe her as dedicated mom, wife and friend with a side of being neurotic; a wonderful multi-tasker who is great at staying on top of the latest info on earth friendly items and things that concern children’s health; and someone who can survive on little or no sleep, especially if it involves a night out with the girls. Besides attempting to go green and wasting many hours on the computer, Lily spends the majority of her time wishing she was on vacation or plotting the next one. She and her family enjoy snowboarding and skiing, wakeboarding and pleasure boating, and riding motorcycles. She has also gotten back into running, in hopes of finding her sanity and/or losing those baby pounds. ![]() |
