![]() On Tuesday and Thursday evenings throughout the school year, families can attend sessions that run from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Golden West College and at Robert Mayer Child Development Preschool. Parents are able to attend parenting and life skills workshops, ESL classes and obtain a childcare job skills training certificate. The project has programs for children as well. There is infant care for children under 2-years-old, preschool instruction for young children and homework help and tutoring for school age youth. To make the sessions more accessible, the program added bus stops that reach out to many neighborhoods in Huntington Beach. The bus schedule runs from 5:35 until 6 p.m. at 14 different stops and families return to their bus stops by 8:30 p.m. Since the Twilight Education Project is geared towards families, adults must have a child enrolled in the program to attend and vice versa. Families can sign up by showing up to any session or by contacting Sunny Schroeter at 714-963-1786.
