Ring in 2013 safely with your family and still be home before before midnight
Want to celebrate New Year’s Eve with the whole family? Well now you can, at the Orange County Great Park. In an effort to match its successful New Year’s debut last year, the Great Park will host the Great Night! Family New Year’s Eve again. The party starts at 5 p.m. Dec. 31 and will ring in the New Year with the East Coast at 9 p.m.
“We are excited to once again offer families a fun, exciting and safe way to celebrate New Year’s at the Great Park,” said Beth Krom, chair of the Orange County Great Park. “This unique celebration allows parents to ring in the New Year with their children and make it home in time to attend other parties.”
The event is open to anyone who wishes to celebrate the New Year with live music, dancing, an alcohol free environment, carnival games, military vehicle displays, and much more.
Attendance for last year was approximately 10,000. This year’s attendance is expected to match. Admission is free, and parking is $10.
