Donate holiday decorations to spread the joy of the season
Help put a twinkle of joy here and dash of cheer there when you donate a few holiday decorations to the Village of Hope in Tustin. The Orange County Rescue Mission is asking for locals to help out their community and make the facility there home of away from home filled with the Christmas spirit.
The Village of Hope is a temporary home to more than 190 men, women and children. Many residents were formerly homeless and have not celebrated the holiday in years, and more sadly, some children have never had a Christmas. Therefore, the Orange County Rescue Mission is asking for your help to give them a holiday like never before.
Suggested items to donated include Christmas lights, banners, wreaths, garland and other festive decorations.
All donations can be dropped off at the Village of Hope from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Dec. 4.
Also, Dec. 4 will be "Decorating Day" at shelter. Residents will deck the halls of their home.
Drop donations off at 1 Hope Drive in Tustin. For more information you can call 714-247-4300
