Working Wardrobes to host prom event in March

Prom dresses and Tuxedos needed for high school seniors

StaffPublished: February, 2012

Prom is an important event for any high schooler, but senior prom is not an experience to miss. However, it's often the expense of the event - the outfit purchase/rental, accessories, etc. that doesn't allow many students to attend, especially in this economy.
That's why a local nonprofit is asking that the Orange County community help provide teens with a chance to experience prom. Working Wardrobes is asking for dresses and tuxedos donations, and calling day-of-volunteers for its Dream Girls and Distinguished Gentlemen Prom event on March 10 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m at the Hilton Irvine.
Supporters will help 150 low-income high school seniors find the perfect ensemble for their prom.  Also, all participating students will attend etiquette, self-esteem and life-choices workshops and be treated to a fashion show.
