![]() Excessive water exposure to the ear during long sessions in the swimming pool can cause a painful infection on the outer ear as well as in the ear canal, referred to as “swimmer’s ear.” Shikowitz recommended the use of earplugs, such as BioEars, to prevent water from entering the ear canal. BioEars, with Microban® antimicrobial technology, prevents the growth of odor-causing bacteria on the earplug.
