 > President: Kari Vasquez > What makes your Newport Beach MOMS Club unique? Our moms come from a wide array of backgrounds: working moms, stay-at-home moms, experienced moms and first-time moms. Our club embraces the unique talents that each member brings and offers a very strong support system for each of its members. > What is your most memorable moment while being involved in your MOMS Club? My most memorable moments are when the members tell me about the special connections they have made with the group. For example, one member went into pre-term labor that required an emergency C-section, and her husband was out of town. She called her MOMS Club friends, and they showed up at the hospital and coached her, while other moms took care of her older child. > How many members are in the club? 45 > When was the club founded? 1998 > What event or weekly meeting do the members really look forward to? The members look forward to their weekly playgroups, where we have the opportunity to connect with moms who have children of a similar age. They also enjoy their Moms’ Night Out, Couples’ Night Out and the General Members Meeting. > What events do you have planned for May and June? We have planned family days at Disneyland and Legoland. Also, there are plans for kite flying at the beach, stroller walks, a mom-and-dad date night, a Moms’ Night Out, a hands-on cooking class, a trip to the museum, and a night at Scooters Jungle. > When and where do you meet?
