> Co-president: Dru Desai > What makes your MOMS Club unique? We’re in a great area, and most of our moms live within a 2-mile radius of each other. We have many options to choose from for events: local parks, the Irvine Spectrum, Discovery Science Center, Disneyland, Tanaka Farms and The Marketplace. > What is your most memorable moment while being involved in the MOMS Club? I showed up at my local park one day, and the MOMS Club happened to be meeting there. I looked around and finally felt like I belonged. Here were other intelligent, funny, exhausted moms just like me who had decided to stay home, but that decision does not define them as people.   > What event or weekly meeting do the members look forward to? Different moms prefer different events, but our weekly playgroups and monthly book club meetings are the most popular. > What events do you have planned for the next few months? A business meeting with rotating speakers, spa days, O.C. Restaurant Week, game night, Easter basket assembly, Spring Fling, Picnic in the Park, fitness camp, stroller walk, a field trip to Pretend City, park days and playgroups in various locations. > What is the best part about being involved in a MOMS Club? Being a part of a wonderful network of women who share insights and ideas. The moms are fun to be around and make me feel like I’m not the only one going through motherhood.
