![]() The Mom’s Club of Garden Grove is a team of 15 women who meet for weekly playdates and a monthly Mom’s Night Out. President Debra Azada says, “We are a bunch of moms who are there for each other to have fun, make playmates for the children and support one another.” Vice President Heidi Frank says one of her favorite aspects of the group is the monthly Mom’s Night Out. “It is a relief to have time to connect with club members without the distraction of children.” Mom’s Night Out activities have included dinner, happy hour and manicures, among other activities. Azada enjoys the weekly park days because, she says, “Moms get to enjoy adult conversation, while the children get to swing on swings and slide down slides with other kids.” A typical park day consists of snacks, swings and chatting – lots of chatting. The concept is simple. The Mom’s Club of Garden Grove is a hub for local mommies to meet and build lasting friendships – both for the mother and the child. The group doesn’t have a long list of accolades, but it does have a 25-year reputation of making great connections for moms and investing in the lives of local families.
