 > President: Kari Vasquez > What makes your MOMS Club unique? Our moms come from a wide array of backgrounds: working moms, stay-at-home moms, experienced moms and first-time moms. Our club embraces the unique talents that each member brings and offers a very strong support system for each of its members. > What are your most memorable moments while being involved in your MOMS Club? My most memorable moments are when the members tell me about the special connections they have made with the group. For example, one member went into pre-term labor that required an emergency C-section, and her husband was out of town. She called her MOMS Club friends, and they showed up at the hospital and coached her, while other moms took care of her older child. > How many members are in the club? 45 > When was the club founded? 1998 > What event or weekly meeting do the members really look forward to? The members look forward to their weekly playgroups, where we have the opportunity to connect with moms who have children of a similar age. They also enjoy their Moms’ Night Out, the Couples’ Night Out and the General Members Meeting. > What events do you have planned for this month? We have planned family days at Disneyland and Legoland. Also, there are plans for kite flying at the beach, stroller walks, a mom-and-dad date night, a Moms’ Night Out, a hands-on cooking class, a trip to the museum and a night at Scooters Jungle. > Where do you meet? We may meet at a member’s home, a local park or even at the zoo. |

Hello! I am a teacher and artist working in Orange County. I am starting an after-school enrichment and intervention program in January and I am looking for interested families. I am offering private tutoring, painting classes, book clubs, and intervention. I will develop an individualized learning plan for each student and fill in any gaps they have in their education. My office is on Campus right across from John Wayne airport. Please let me know if you are interested in sending my information to moms in your group. I can also work with you to develop any programs that would benefit your private group.
