![]() > What makes your MOMS Club unique? We are a group of Orange County parents interested in exposing our children to different languages and cultures. > What is your most memorable moment while being involved in your MOMS Club? Watching parents and kids alike eat raw onions at Tanaka Farms! We took a wagon ride tour of the farm and learned the names of the fruits and vegetables in different languages. And we tasted fresh-picked fruits and veggies, including carrots, broccoli, melons, green beans and onions. > How many members does the group have? 128 families > When was the club founded? June 2008 > What event or weekly meeting do the members really look forward to? All of them! But the cultural festivals are always fun! > What events do you have planned in the near future? On May 2, we will be participating in the International Festival. This event will have more than 600 musicians and dancers performing on three stages, as well as presentations, a Dragon dance and much more! > When and where do you meet? We meet throughout the month all over O.C. > What is the best part about being involved in a MOMS Club? My goal is that my son will learn a little more about what it means to be a global citizen. And to appreciate, understand and love cultures and peoples from all over the world, no matter their language, race, ethnicity or religion. Contact: ckimball@langokidsirvine.com |
