“Bruce Almighty” funnymen Jim Carrey and Steve Carell team up for this animated adaptation of Dr. Seuss’ 1954 children’s book. Carrey voices the imaginative elephant that hears a cry for help coming from a speck of dust, and, despite being labeled as nuts, Horton is determined to help. Carell puts words in the mouth of Whoville’s microscopic mayor. The cast also includes Carol Burnett and Seth Rogen.

There are school bullies, and then there are school bullies. Buddies Ryan (Troy Gentile), Wade (Nate Hartley) and Emmit (David Dorfman) must contend with the latter kind, starting with their first day of high school. The boys are so scared by this junior Hannibal Lecter (Josh Peck), that they hire a soldier of fortune for protection. They’ll soon learn that you get what you pay for, which wasn’t much to hire Owen Wilson as the budget bodyguard.
