Items were put up for bid on a staggered basis starting Monday, May 24 and will continue through Friday at erstadcharityauction.org.“My wife Jessica believes very strongly in the Prevention Center,” says Erstad. “I have seen her passion with her golf event and was trying to find any way to help. What better way than to tie it together with baseball and the All Star Game in Anaheim this year? I want to thank all the players and coaches from across Major League Baseball who have so generously helped!” The online auction is an extension of the 7th annual Jessica Erstad “Not So Serious” Women’s Golf Outing. To honor the All-Star game coming to Anaheim, this year’s tournament is themed “Baseball All Stars”. The golf outing will be held on June 21 at Black Gold Golf Club in Yorba Linda. “We have received such great support throughout our time in Orange County, it’s nice to be able to give back to the community,” says Jessica Erstad. Not your typical golf tournament, this ladies only nine-hole event favors avid golfers as well as those who are new to the game. Each hole has a different twist to it. Players may find themselves teeing-off wearing batting gloves, putting a baseball instead of a golf ball or hitting a shot towards bases instead of a golf hole. The players are treated to lunch courtesy of The Winery Restaurant in Tustin and flavored martini's from Three Olives. To register for the Jessica Erstad “Not So Serious” Women’s Golf Outing, please visit brightfutures4kids.org.
