YOUR VIDEO GAMES CAN SAVE LIVES

Aliso Viejo-based Donate Games has found a way to let people make a profound impact on the world without reaching deep into their pockets during these tough economic times. Gamers simply send in their used video games to the charity’s online store at donategames.org, and all store proceeds are then donated to help fun research and raise awareness of orphan diseases, which are rare medical conditions that afflict millions of people around the world.
   
Jim and Cynthia Carol established Donate Games in September 2008 after their own son and video game enthusiast, Taylor, survived an orphan disease called Philadelphia Chromosome, a rare form of leukemia.
