Trinka Rowsell

Trinka Rowsell knows all about working under pressure. As one of the few female executives at Farmers & Merchants Bank, she juggles broad job duties with raising her son, who is not yet 2.
   
“My work life is nonstop from the moment I wake up to the time I shut my eyes,” says Rowsell. “It is a constant frenzy of activity, creativity and events. I am constantly juggling many different commitments and deadlines, and responding to and communicating with our company executives on a regular basis.”
   
Rowsell also has a number of outside commitments as a board member of the local Junior League. Her promotion to director of marketing came in addition to her previous responsibilities.
   
“My greatest joy as a working mother is knowing that I get to have it all – a challenging and amazing career as well as a wonderful, loving family,” says Rowsell. “However, I have to continually fight the feeling that I need to work harder to prove that I am just as valuable as someone who doesn’t have family obligations.”  fmb.com
