Product or service:
I am a graphic designer, and I design packaging for an assortment of products.

How did you come up with the idea?
I have been a graphic designer for years. It is what I studied in college, and I have worked in several of the top ad agencies in the country.

What did it take to get your business launched? The biggest investment that I had to make was to get a nice computer and printer to work with.

Tell us about your first sale or contract.
My first real design that really got me excited was a package design that I did for CranErgy Ocean Spray energy drink. You can find it on the shelves at your local grocery store.

What is the size of your business?
Approximately $30K per year.

What are your plans for the business?
I would love to be able to do my work on a full-time basis.

Did you have any special education or training that relates to your business?
I studied graphic design at Kent State University.

Do you have a business role model?
I have always been a big fan of Margo Chase. She has done art for Madonna and Cher.
