 I did want to make sure everyone was aware of MLB All-Star FanFest and the great events they have coming up to celebrate the All-Star game in Anaheim. All-Star FanFest will be held from July 9 to July 13 at the Anaheim Convention Center. MLB All-Star FanFest is like a baseball amusement park and it will make its first visit to Anaheim in July, occupying more than 450,000 square feet of space at the Anaheim Convention Center. The five-day event will serve as the launch for MLB All-Star Week, which will culminate with the 81st MLB All-Star Game Tuesday, July 13 at Angel Stadium of Anaheim. All-Star Angels centerfielder Torii Hunter recently joined Hall of Famer Rod Carew as spokesman for the MLB All-Star FanFest. The fun starts tomorrow with a ticket hunt scheduled for five locations throughout Southern California. Beginning at noon April 9, fans that discover winning red packages will win special ticket prizes to 2010 MLB All-Star FanFest. “MLB All-Star FanFest is a family event that brings people closer to the sport and I am honored to be a part of it,” says Hunter. “I know it will be an experience fans will remember the rest of their lives. MLB All-Star FanFest is a fun and interactive event which is why Major League Baseball came up with a promotion like the MLB All-Star FanFest Ticket Hunt.” According to the contest information: The first fan at each location that finds the MLB All-Star FanFest Ticket Hunt red packages will receive four tickets to all five days of MLB All-Star FanFest, Holiday Inn Priority Pass lane passes enabling them to go to the front of the line for select attractions, food vouchers and a voucher for a baseball autographed by Torii Hunter. The MLB All-Star FanFest Ticket Hunt will be open to all residents of California and will begin at noon PT on Friday, April 9 at locations throughout Southern California. The event will conclude at 5 p.m. or when the final red package is found, whichever happens first. For clues regarding the location of the packages, please visit AllStarGame.com or tune into KLAA 830 AM beginning Friday at noon PT. For the first time, fans who purchase one adult full price ticket for Friday, July 9, 2010 will receive one free children's ticket for the same day (a $25 Savings). Adult tickets for this special offer must be purchased by July 1 using the coupon code BOGF. MLB All-Star FanFest provides an unrivaled experience for fans of all ages. The five-day event is the world’s largest interactive baseball fan event and features more than 40 baseball attractions and exhibits.
