The heart of the village is located in downtown Santa Ana. This area is the home to two live performance theaters: Empire Theater and Rude Guerilla Theater. An open house of the “Artists Village” is held the first Saturday of the month from 7-9 p.m. and by appointment.

Kidseum visitors can experience the world's cultures through music and mask, storytelling and song, and art and artifacts. The popular Pre-School Discoveries program will be back in full force on Tuesdays and Wednesdays to delight the younger set with music and movement, whimsical art projects, stories and nutritious snacks. The Centennial Heritage Museum offers a hands-on experience of life as it was a century ago in Southern California. The 11-acre site includes restored 19th-century homes, a blacksmith shop, citrus groves, four gardens and a 5-acre Nature Center.
