Casa Romantica, the historic estate of San Clemente founder Ole Hanson, embodies the essence of Southern California. Escape to Hukilau Beach Bounce, the coolest indoor inflatable beach island party and play paradise. Events include: Free Hawaiian Beach Story on Thursdays at 10:15 a.m., Lil Keiki Open Play on Wednesdays from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. (for kids 5 and under) and Open Play Day or drop off for all ages every Monday from 2-5 p.m. and every other Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. Call or visit their website for up-to-date event information and prices.

Poche Beach sits on the northern most end of San Clemente and is popular for surfing (though the waves are inconsistent). This beach is next to an Ole Hanson's Beach Club and an Amtrak stop. Unfortunately, this beach does not have restrooms or a parking lot, but parking is available on Pacific Coast Highway.

At the base of the sea cliffs lies two miles of sand, perfect for a variety of beach activities for the family. Volleyball courts, surfing, swimming and its world famous pier are just some of the things you can find at this beautiful beach. Amenities include restrooms, showers, parking (fee) and snack bars.

Spend Sunday mornings shopping for produce fresh from the fields in an open-air shopping mart located on the main boulevard of San Clemente. The ocean breeze enhances an already sensory experience of colors, tastes and textures.

This quiet beach area is perfect for surfing, hiking, camping and picnicking or just some solitude. Amenities include parking (1/4 mile from beach), fire rings, restrooms & showers.
