Enjoy a 1/3-scale train ride that lasts about 12 minutes and travels through the 477-acre park, stopping at Santa's Village and going through the “Tunnel of Lights.” While waiting to meet Santa, you may purchase coffee, hot chocolate or popcorn and cookies from the Gingerbread House snack bar.

This is the perfect place for guided horseback tours and Western and English riding lessons. Trail rides take place at 9 a.m., 10:30 a.m., noon, 1:30 p.m., 3 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday by appointment. Riders must be 8 years old or older. Lessons are offered year-round on a monthly-fee basis.

This charming little park has an animal farm with goats, sheep, chickens and ducks for children to see and pet. A small lake is also filled with trout. This location is perfect for a family picnic.

One of its most exciting features for hikers are “the Sinks,” a red sandstone formation in the shape of a huge 250-foot deep bowl that was carved by a stream more than a million years ago.
