Clark Regional Park rests on a prehistoric fossil site and has produced the largest variety of fossilized salamanders in Southern California, as well as the first banana slug fossil ever found. Clark also has a 3-acre lake stocked with bass and catfish, and there are picnic tables, playgrounds and ball fields. Additionally, the Ralph B. Clark Regional Park Museum has a full color mural that depicts life as it existed 400,000 years ago, as well as skeletons of a saber-toothed cat, mammoth and ground sloth on display.
