One of my earliest crafting memories is making this wreath with my mom and older sisters when I was a little girl. Creating one is super easy, plus it’s my most inexpensive craft to date (under $12). My version is on the simple side, but feel free to embellish your wreath with little candy canes or ornaments.

Materials

• Wire hanger

• Box of fold-top sandwich bags (240 count)

• Spray paint

• Ribbon or premade bow

Directions

Step 1: Bend the body of the hanger into a circle. Keep the hook intact; you will use it later to hang your wreath.

Step 2: Tie each sandwich bag onto the hanger, forming a knot. Push the bags together, getting as many as you can around the hanger. Fluff them out when you are done.

Step 3: Spray paint over both sides of the sandwich bags. I used two shades of green, but you can use any color you want.

Step 4: Make a bow out of the ribbon or use a premade bow and attach it to the top of your wreath.
