Materials
• 5-by-7-inch blank cards
• Regular- and mini-size cupcake liners
• Brightly colored buttons
• Green crayon or marker (could also use green construction paper)
• Glue stick or tacky glue
• Happy Mother’s Day stamp
• Stamp pad
Procedure
Step 1: Stamp the bottom right corner of the blank card with the Happy Mother’s Day stamp. I used a white stamp pad, but you can pick any color you want.
Step 2: Glue a regular-size cupcake liner onto the top center of the card. I cut four slits around the edge so it would lay more flat.
Step 3: Take a second regular-size cupcake liner, fold it in half and trim it down some. I used scrapbook scissors to make a decorative edge. Unfold it and glue on top of the first liner.
Step 4: Glue a mini-size cupcake liner on top of the two regular-size liners. This completes the flower petals.
Step 5: Glue three buttons in the center of the flower.
Step 6: Finish the flower by drawing a green stem and leaf with a green crayon or marker. You can also make a stem with green construction paper or green buttons.
