An estimated 250 people participated in OC Charity Dog Walk on Saturday to support local charities, according to an organizer.
Participants walked around Mike Ward Community Park with their beloved furry four-legged pets, shopped at vendor booths and tried sample food from food trucks.
The event, hosted by the Irvine Rotary, raised about $6,500, which will go toward the club’s community projects.
