Materials

• Metal cookie cutters in different holiday shapes ($14.99 for a box of 30, Bed Bath & Beyond)

• Clear glue (Aleene’s Original Tacky Glue works well) or hot glue gun with glue sticks

• Thin ribbon or twine

• Large needle

• X-Acto knife

• Cutting board

• Scissors

Step 1

Apply small dabs of glue around bottom edge of cookie cutter. Quickly press the glue-covered edge against the decorative side of the scrapbook paper. Let dry.

Step 2

Use the X-Acto knife to cut around the outside edge of the cookie cutter.

Step 3

Thread the needle with the twine or ribbon and poke it through the paper at the top of the ornament (as close to the metal as possible). Tie a knot on top of the cutter. Form a 2-inch loop and tie another knot.
