Residents young and old saw Heritage Hill Historical Park transformed into a Halloween-themed fun zone as Lake Forest hosted the Autumn Harvest Festival.

The Saturday event included costume contests, games and even the transformation of the old El Toro Grammar School into Hogwarts of Harry Potter fame. Members of Imagination Station entertained the costumed crowds with improv scenes.

Children were encouranged to show up in their Halloween costumes, though it wasn’t required. Many did, however, adding to the spirit of the festival.

The Autumn Harvest Festival was the first of two Halloween-style events to grace the park. This weekend, the 9th annual Haunt at Heritage Hill will turn the park into a haunted adventure suited more for teens and adults.
