IRVINE – More than 5,000 parents and children attended the inaugural Babychella Family Art & Music Festival on Sunday, an organizer said.

The festival at William R. Mason Regional Park featured activities for children 5 and under including story time, face painting and an interactive bubble village.

Visitors also participated in mommy, daddy and me yoga, posed for pictures in themed photo booths and took part in various hands-on arts and crafts, while discovering the newest trends from popular baby brands and hearing from family-oriented educational speakers.

“It was interesting to meet all the different parents and discuss about our concerns and what we like about being parents,” said Anaheim resident Alice Lefevre, who brought her 2-month-old son, Oliver, to the event.

Babychella was hosted by OC Parks in partnership with Irvine-based event producer Hampton Productions.
