Pirate Costumes YOU Can Make Tonight

Create an Effortless Holiday Centerpiece

It's official.
The "holidays" have arrived.
Time for big meals, decorations and family gatherings!
Stress.
I can't tell you what to do about those family members (you know the ones) but I can help simplify the decorations with this effortless tip.
Combine your dessert (or favors) and centerpiece.
Instead of wasting money on a centerpiece you can only use once opt for pumpkin pie, apple crisp and key lime on cute cake stands on one end of the table or line up frosted cupcakes and walnut brownies down the center
(is your mouth watering yet?!?).
This year for our Halloween centerpiece I used a simple vase filled with black beans from my pantry and our Halloween party favors.
Easy!
After the party the favors will be taken, the vase can go back on the shelf, and those beans will be in a tortilla soup!

Kara-Noel has been "crafting" since she could hold a glue gun! When she isn't hanging with her Hot Hubby or chasing down her two kiddos you'll find her blogging here.

Disclosure: Bloggers are often provided with free products, services and "experiences" from companies for the purpose of testing and reviewing them in a blog post. Any product mentioned in the blog posts of ocfamily.com may have been offered at no cost to the blogger.
